Lady Daphne, originally from Hong Kong, began her Shibari journey in 2020 and embarked on her path as a professional Dominatrix in 2022.

She holds a profound passion for the aesthetics and philosophy of traditional Japanese Kinbaku and has been continuously learning under the guidance of Naka Akira Sensei and Naoko Sensei. In 2025, Lady Daphne was also endorsed by Naka Akira Sensei to become an educator in basic Naka style. She is also actively learning kimono dressing and the Japanese language to gain a deeper understanding of the essence of traditional Japanese aesthetics.

In recent years, she has been actively conducting workshops and performances across Asia (including China, Korea, Malaysia, and other regions). Known for her striking contrast in aesthetics and meticulous teaching style, she values genuine exchange with participants and places great emphasis on the transmission of knowledge. Every workshop has earned high praise from organisers and attendees alike.

Her teaching approach focuses on inspiring students, encouraging them not only to master rope techniques but also to gain deeper insight and personal revelation. Open-minded by nature, she never imposes her views, recognising that each individual is unique, with diverse perspectives and mindsets.

Deeply influenced by the Naka style, Lady Daphne’s approach embodies a powerful contrast—like an iron fist in a velvet glove, blending intensity with tenderness. For her, Semenawa represents the ultimate pursuit of the beauty in surrender, a profound exploration of raw and shadowed emotions.
